Biomass Processing Unit on its way...

Updated: Jan 11, 2023

As per the Steambio Africa project's schedule, the Biomass Processing Unit (BPU) has left the CE Bennets & Sons work yard in the United Kingdom and is en route to the port of Walvis Bay in Namibia. Upon its arrival, it will then be transported to the Cheetah Conservation Fund's Biomass Technology Demonstration Center (BTDC) site.

The steelworks previously mentioned in our last post are meant to support the main BPU and form one complete structure. Together these implements will bring us one step closer to our objective of developing a new clean solid biofuel and commercialising it in the 3 primary southern African countries initially targeted; Namibia, Botswana and South Africa. We shall keep you posted on any furter updates.
